First appointment

It is important to me that I can offer enough time for you.

At the beginning of the appointment, you will have the opportunity to tell me in detail about you and your symptoms during the anamnesis discussion. I will ask lots of questions to get a full picture of your situation. These include, for example, questions about past operations or accidents, which can provide an indication of possible patterns in which your symptoms arise. The interview is followed by a detailed physical examination. For this I will ask you to undress down to your underwear. If you do not wish to do this, for whatever reason, you can also bring short sports clothing that you can wear for the examination and treatment. We will find a solution that you feel comfortable with.

It is important to me to recognize possible contraindications to osteopathic therapy early and, if necessary, to have them clarified by a doctor so that nothing can stand in the way of the treatment.

As time permits, I will treat you following the examination. However, the focus of the first appointment is on getting to know you and your complaints and getting a comprehensive picture of your system.

Follow-up appointments

An osteopathic treatment usually lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. At the beginning of the follow-up appointment, I will ask a few questions about your current situation/ state of your condition. After a short examination, treatment follows. This is done exclusively with my hands. The manual techniques used can vary in intensity. Some are felt directly and clearly, possibly painful, others are gentle and subtle, without a directly noticeable effect. They are always adapted to the patient and his system.

CancelLATION POLICY

If you are unable to keep an appointment, I ask you to cancel it at least 24 hours in advance. For appointments that are canceled later or not canceled at all, I reserve the right to charge for these.

Prices

An osteopathic treatment in my practice lasts between 45 and 60 minutes and costs 95 - 110 €.

If you are a student, trainee or looking for a job, please contact me. We can talk together about a possible price reduction.

Legally insured

The costs for osteopathic treatments are now reimbursed partly by many health insurance companies. This usually requires a doctor’s referral. It's best to contact your health insurance provider before your first appointment. Further information can be found in the Osteocompass or on the website of hpO.

In order for the costs to be covered, the osteopathic therapist must also have a recognized professional qualification. This is guaranteed if the osteopath is a member of a recognized professional association for osteopaths. I am a member of the 'Professional association for medically practiced osteopathy eV (hpO)'

Private and additional insurance

Many private health insurance companies reimburse the costs of osteopathic treatments in whole or in part. It's best to contact your health insurance provider before your first appointment. Additional insurance for alternative practitioner services can also make reimbursement easier.
